Post @AskTagged send 5 SOL to @handle and the money is on its way. The recipient can be in any country and does not need a wallet, an exchange account or an app. If they have nothing yet, Tagged creates a wallet for their X account and holds the key for them until they ask for it. Any X account can be paid, whether or not they have ever heard of Tagged.
- The recipient needs nothing in advance. A wallet is created for them at the moment of the first payment.
- No borders and no bank. The transfer settles on Solana in seconds, and the only cost is the network fee.
- The money waits safely. The recipient collects their key by DM whenever they want, and can link a wallet they already own.
You post a command
Any public post that mentions the bot counts. It reads the amount, the token and the recipient from plain text.
Tagged prepares the recipient
If the recipient has no wallet, one is created for their X account first. Then the transfer is signed with your wallet and sent to a Solana RPC node.
Solana confirms it
The bot replies in the thread with the amount, the recipient and the transaction signature. The recipient gets their key by DM and can spend right away.
Every X handle is an address you can pay
You never need to ask someone for a wallet address. A handle resolves to the address they linked, or to the wallet the bot created for them. If neither exists, the bot creates one before the transfer runs, and the recipient gets the key by DM.
Send SOL or any token you already hold
Write the ticker and the bot matches it against the tokens in your wallet, including SPL and Token-2022 mints. send 10 BONK to @user works the same way as send 2 SOL to @user. A raw Solana address can replace the handle.
Keep the keys where you want them
A wallet created by the bot is a convenience wallet: the private key goes to your DMs and an encrypted copy stays with the bot so it can sign for you. Post link <address> and payments to your handle go to a wallet only you control. Post unlink to switch back.
Every command is a normal post
Pick a command to run it in the sandbox on the right. The parser is the same one the bot uses, but nothing is stored and no SOL moves.
